nursing student child Heavenly Mother Jerusalem, Our Spiritual Doctorahnsahnghong While living in this world, there are many diseases and plagues that can be contracted to our bodies. That’s why we try to live a very clean and healthy lifestyle. But even though we try to make every effort, we sometimes contract a virus or disease. Whenever this situation happens to us, we want to be cured from the sickness. Usually, people tend to visit the doctor in order to receive treatment or even a cure for the particular sickness. Through this physical example we can understand something about the spiritual world which is essential for us to know.

When we read the scriptures of when Christ came, we understand that he fulfilled many prophecies of the Old Testament, but also when Christ came he referred to himself as being a doctor, Matthew.9:12-13, “On hearing this, Jesus said, It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” In reading this we can see that if Christ came as a doctor. This means we are all sinners who are spiritually sick. Usually if a person has a sickness and does not receive any type of treatment, that particular sickness tends to get worse, and may ultimately be the cause of death to that person. It’s the same with us, in this world we are all sinners who must die- then we need to come to our spiritual doctor who will heal us. At that time, faith in Jesus Christ is what healed the people from their sicknesses, as it is written Matthew.9:20-22, “Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, if I only touch his cloak, I will be healed. Jesus turned and saw her, Take heart, daughter, he said, your faith has healed you. And the woman was healed from that moment.” By believing in Jesus 2,000 years ago and following his teachings, people were healed from their spiritual sickness and were allowed to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, Luke 23:40-43, “But the other criminal rebuked him. Don’t you fear God, he said, since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong. Then he said, Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. Jesus answered him; I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Then as we already know, God’s plan for our salvation was divided into three ages (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Just like 2,000 years ago, we are all sick and need to be healed- then the question for us is “To whom must we go? “ According to Isaiah 57:18-19, it states that God will comfort us, and in doing so will heal us from spiritual sickness, “I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will guide him and restore comfort to him, creating praise on the lips of the mourners in Israel. Peace, peace, to those far and near, says the Lord. I will heal them.” And Isaiah30:26, confirms this message of God healing our wounds, “The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the Lord binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted.” In this case, we have to know the name of God who will comfort us and heal our wounds so that we may have true faith. Without knowing, we will remain spiritually sick and have to face death. In reading Isaiah.66:12-13, we can see that the one who will heal our wounds is our Mother Jerusalem, “For this is what the Lord says: I will extend peace to her like a river and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled on her knees. As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.” Just like in the world, the best doctor would be our own mother. In relation, because Christ sacrificed his life in order to save the children 2000 years ago, it is the same now with our Heavenly Mother. Isaiah 53:4-5, “Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.” Nowadays, there are so many people who deny Mother even though she is the bible. These people unknowingly are committing the same sin just like 2,000 years ago when the people rejected Jesus Christ. In this age the only way we can be healed is by being obedient to God’s commands and having true faith in our Heavenly Mother. I would truly like to give all glory and praise to our Heavenly Mother Jerusalem who has given me true life so that I may testify about Her through the scriptures. As it is written, 1 John 1:1-3, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched-this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us….”
