prison Prisoners, Who Are Set Free By Christ Ahnsahnghongahnsahnghong In the reading the bible, we can see on many occasions, that when God looks from heaven to earth, we are consider prisons on this earth, psalms 102:19-20, “The Lord looked down from his sanctuary on high from heaven he viewed the earth, to hear the groans of the prisoners and release those condemned to death.” In reading this we must understand that we are all prisoners, then as prisoners what kind of mind we should have towards God? When we look physical prisoners in this world, we can see that their life is not an easy one. In jail, inmates will face many different emotions and feelings, so being despair, anxiety and many others. But as a prisoners, they are not giving whatever they want and are not allowed to do whatever they want but just follow and obey the rules and regaluation, hoping that one day they will be free from incarceration. In the sameway even though we suffer so much in this world, we should have that same hope of returning to our heavenly home (Heb.11:13). But the question is, who will set us free from this prison? In reading Luke 4:16-18, we can see that Jesus came to release us from this terrible prison that we are in, “He (Jesus) went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read. The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed.” In doing this he fulfulled the prophesy of the old testament which forsaw him accomplishing this mission, as it is written, Is.42:6-7, “I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and light for the Gentiles to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.” Then we can see that Jesus purpose 2,000 years ago was to release us from this prison. But we must understand now,  where to go and who is the one who is  going to release us from this prison so that we may return back to the kingdom of heaven? According to Is.51:14-16, states that those who are in Zion will be set free from their captvity by God Almighty,”The cowering prisoners will soon be set free; they will not die in their dungeon nor will they lack bread. For I am the Lord your God, who churns up the sea so that its waves roar-the Lord Almighty is his name. I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand-I who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, you are my people.” Then who is God in this age who will set us free? It is the Judge 2nd coming Christ who is knocking at the door (Rev.3:20), as it is written in James 5:9,”Don’t grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!” As it is in a physical prison, only the Judge can allow someone go go home, it is the same spiritual, only 2nd coming Christ can allow us to go back to our heavenly home. The only one who has fulfilled this prophesy of giving us spiritual freedom through the passover is our heavenly Father Christ Ahnsahnghong, as it states in Zec.9:11, “As for you, because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will free your prisoners from the waterless pit.” Even though people may slander and persecuted the Church of God becuase of  the name Ahnsahnghong, it will account for nothing. Because the scriptures clearly testifies that he is the One who would free us from this prison. I truly will like to give all glory and praise to Christ Ahnsahnghong for giving us life so that we may take part in the resurrection, as it is written, Matt 22:29-32, “Jesus replied, You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. But about the ressurection of the dead- have you not read what God said to you, I am God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”
