God Promised Life Through the Sabbath.

Every Christian wants to receive the blessing which comes from God, that is Eternal Life. Among all the Commandments, there is one which God gave very specific instructions about:

Ex 20:8 (Fourth Commandment) : Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

God promised to bless us on the Sabbath Day (Saturday). You can read from the beginning of the creation work until the very last verse of the Bible and a verse isn’t found authorizing the sanctification of Sunday! From the beginning, God promised to bless us on the Sabbath, that is the 7th Day of the Week, Saturday. We may find it more convenient to worship on Sunday because that’s what the world follow, however, this is not the right mind! King Saul chose to follow God in his own way and this is what the prophet told him.

1 Samuel 15:22
But Samuel replied: “Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.”

PS 133:3 “It is as if the dew of Hermon

were falling on Mount Zion.
For there the LORD bestows his blessing,
even life forevermore.”

In Zion, world Mission Society Church of God, we keep the Sabbath Day. By Keeping the Sabbath we come to know God and receive the blessing of God, that is eternal life.

Come to the place where life overflows, and receive life! Church of God World Mission Society
